What is the difference between BVV cable and BVVB cable?

What is the difference between BVV cable and BVVB cable?(图1)

  BVV cable: full name copper core PVC insulated polyethylene sheathed round cable, also known as light PVC sheathed cable, commonly known as hard sheathed cable.

  BVVB cable: The full name is copper core PVC insulated and sheathed flat cable, which is a commonly used type in sheathed cables. A sheathed cable refers to a single-core or multi-core wire with a sheath: a layer of white polyvinyl chloride sheath with several BV wires inside. This kind of wire is generally a copper core wire. In addition to an insulating layer on the outside of the wire, there is a protective layer on the outside of the wire. The insulation material and sheath material of BVVB wires are all polyvinyl chloride. According to different performances, the product can be divided into three categories: insulation, flame-retardant, and fire-resistant. Different categories have different uses.

  1. Different appearance

  BVV: The appearance is round, and the inside is directly formed by the sheath and the conductor. The colors are red, yellow, yellow and green, blue, green, and black.

  BVVB: The appearance is flat, the sheath contains several BV wires, there are two protective layers, and the color is only white.

  Two, the scope of use is different

  BVV: This product is suitable for power plants and household appliances with AC voltage of 300/500V and below, and can also be used for surface installation of electric wires.

  BVVB: Applicable to AC rated voltage 300/500V, required for fixed laying of electrician, instrument, telecommunication equipment, power unit and lighting circuit in flame-retardant occasions.

  Three, the characteristics are different

  BVV: Long-term allowable working temperature: no more than 70°C. The laying temperature of fixed laying cables (wires) is no less than 0°C.

  BVVB: The long-term allowable working temperature of BVVB products should not exceed 70°C. The performance indicators of the product are in line with the national GA306.1-2007. The laying temperature of the cable should not be lower than 0℃, the allowable bending radius of cables with an outer diameter (D) of less than 25mm should be no less than 4D, and the allowable bending radius of cables with an outer diameter (D) of 25mm or more should not be less than 6D.
