Measuring DC resistance is an important item in transformer testing. Through measurement, it is possible to check whether the conductive circuit of the equipment has defects such as poor contact, poor welding, coil failure, and wiring errors. Today, the power adapter manufacturer will share with you how to operate the ground resistance tester to measure resistance.
1. How to use:
1. Turn on the power of the instrument, set the power switch from "off" to "on", and warm up for 5-10 minutes;
2. Clip the red clip of the instrument to the ground wire input end of the power cord of the bracket, and clip the black clip to the bare part of the housing;
3. Press the test button of the instrument, the value displayed on the instrument is the ground resistance value of the support;
4. When another sample test is needed, repeat steps 2～3;
2. Matters needing attention:
1. Do not use the meter where flammable and explosive materials are placed;
2. Before turning on the power, make sure that the meter is reliably grounded;
3. Before the test, it should be noted that the test product and the test clamp must be in good contact, otherwise the measurement data is inaccurate or the test instrument determines that the current is faulty and automatically stops the test;
4. The test clip has good elasticity, otherwise it will cause measurement errors;
5. When the test current is greater than 29A, the tester considers that the current is faulty, alarms and automatically stops the test;
6. To ensure the accuracy of the test, the time for each ground resistance test should be no less than 3 seconds, and the reading should be performed after the data is stable;
7. You must read the instruction manual before working, and consult a technician if you have any questions;
8. If the meter is faulty, please consult a technician, and do not open the case at will;
9. It must be warmed up for 10 minutes each time it is turned on, otherwise its accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
