  1. In-line charger

  In-line chargers are convenient to carry and easy to use, and have always been loved by users. However, there are many brands of in-line chargers on the market today, with high and low quality, so you should pay more attention when buying. Pay attention to the following items when buying:

  (1) Weight. Under normal circumstances, the heavier the charger, the more electronic components the charger uses, and to a certain extent, the better the quality of the charger. This method is the most intuitive and effective. When purchasing, it is best to take a few more direct plug-in chargers of different brands and models, and weigh them with your hands. Once you compare them, you can easily compare them.

  (2) Function. The function of the in-line charger mainly depends on the IC (smart chip) it adopts. At present, IC has developed to the third generation. After the improvement of the first two generations of ICs, the in-line chargers produced by the third-generation ICs have more complete functions. However, due to the fierce market competition, many manufacturers usually use the second-generation ICs, which are less expensive, to produce in-line chargers. And counterfeit the charger produced by the third-generation IC to sell. Therefore, we must first clarify the difference between the functions of the three generations of Ic before and after. If you are using the second-generation Ic plug-in charger, you need to plug the plug-in charger into the socket for each charge, and then place the battery on the charger's socket for charging after the self-check is completed. Otherwise, it will cause the charger to judge the battery power inaccurately, and it will not be able to charge normally. Therefore, when purchasing, you can intuitively use a battery with insufficient power to verify that the Ic used in the in-line charger to be purchased belongs to the first generation of chargers.

  (3) Pins. In-line chargers are usually divided into two-phase fixed pins and two-phase/3-phase variable pins. At the time of purchase, it is best to choose two-phase/three-phase variable pins, which will be much more convenient in future use. In addition, you should try to pull the pins of the in-line charger when purchasing. If it is easy to pull out the pins, do not buy such a charger.

  (4) Heat generation. When the in-line charger is running, the transformer inside will generate a certain amount of heat. Under normal circumstances, the better the quality of the transformer, the lower the heat generated. As long as the temperature generated by the charger during operation is less than 30°C, that is, it is slightly hot when touched with the hand, it can be said to meet the standard. So when buying, you should choose several different in-line chargers, let them run for a few minutes, and then feel the heat, you should choose a charger with a lower temperature.

  (5) Manufacturing process and materials. If conditions permit, the direct plug-in charger can also be disassembled to directly inspect the circuit board manufacturing process, the quality of parts and the welding process, etc. for quality identification.

  In addition, usually good-quality chargers have uniform solder joints on the circuit board, and the solder joints will not be stained with a large amount of solder, and the transformers, capacitors, and transistors used are relatively large and bulky. The quality of the components is good, the service life of the in-line charger is not only long, and the performance is more stable.
